Manual Osteopathic Therapy & Rapid NeuroFacial Reset are both performed fully clothed. You should arrive in loose, moveable and comfortable clothing. No jeans, sweaters or tight clothing please.

NOTE: MOT treatments are billed out under a seperate billing number than Massage Therapy. Some clients are finding that MOT treatments are under a seperate umbrella than Massage which is opening up more insurance coverage ($$) for them yearly. Please call and check with your insurance company prior to booking to see if it is covered under your plan and if it is combined with Massage, or is in a seperate category. Generally you will have to pay up front for your MOT appointment and submit on your own to your insurance company for reimbursement. Some insurance companies now allow direct billing. Therapeutic Massage Therapy: refers to the manipulation of soft tissues in the body to promote healing, relaxation, and overall well-being. It involves various techniques applied by a registered massage therapist to address specific physical issues or to simply induce a sense of relaxation or stress relief. Silicone Cupping can be added to this appointment with no extra fee. The cups may be used stationary or moved dynamically. Usually oils or lotions are used on the client who is undressed to their comfort level. Client is draped professionally and covered properly at all times.

TMJ Intra-Oral Massage: is a specific treatment for Tempomandibular Joint Disorder. TMJ disorder can cause pain and discomfort in the jaw joint and muscles. A gloved finger is used inside the mouth to relieve pain and discomfort. Treatment can also address structures on the face as well.

Manual Osteopathic Therapy: is a hands on manual treatment that is used to help eliminate body dysfunction by treating the body as a whole, getting to the root of the problem. These dysfunctions may involve skeletal, joint and myofascial structures as well as the related vascular, lymphatic and neural elements. MOT involves testing, treating and retesting. There are five components that can be used in a MOT treatment.

Osteoarticulations - gental, hands-on manual therapy techniques within Osteopathy that focus on improving joint mobility and skeletal alignment by using specific positioning and mild muscle effort to realign bones, restore natural movement, reduce stiffness, and relieve pain, working with the body's inherent ability to heal without forceful cracking. Gentle manipulation is used to realign the pelvis, back and neck. Mobilizations are used to help increase range of motion, reduce adhesions, relieve inflammation and calm pain.

Cranial Sacral Therapy - a subtul but very effective treatment for the central nervous system to promote overall body healing. If you have ever hit your head or fallen on your bottom your cranial sacral system has been affected. The technique assesses synarthrodial joints of the skull, applying pressure to affect changes to the cranial membrane, cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) and the entire nervous system. Manipulation is also used to balance the flow of CSF and realign & release the neck, back, sacrum and coccyx.

Manual Lymphatic Therapy - a gentle specialized massage technique using light, rhythmic strokes to stimulate the lymphatic system. Encouraging the movement of lymph fluid, waste and toxins away from congested tissues towards lymph nodes for processing, which significantly reduces swelling (lymphedema), supports immune function, promotes relaxation and aids in post injury or surgery recovery. Our lymph system is an integral part of the body's immunity and waste removal.

Advanced Myofascial Remodeling - hands on therapy that goes beyond basic massage to release deep, chronic tension in the fascia (connective tissue) using percise, sustained pressure, stretching and movement to restore mobility, improve circulation, and relieve pain from injuries, posture issues, and scar tissue. Fascia plays a crucial role in providing structural integrity, transmitting forces, and facilitating movement. Myofascial remodelling refers to the process of restructuring and reorganizing the fascia, to regain it's ability to slide and glide. By decreasing fascial tension and adheasions pain is alleviated throughout the body.

Visceral Manipulations - a gentle hands on therapy that focuses on the internal organs (viscera) and their surrounding connective tissues (fascia) to release restrictions, adhesions and tension that cause pain, poor posture and dysfunction in the body. Developed by French Osteopath Jean-Pierre Barral, visceral manipulation is based on the concept that the body's organs need to move freely and correctly in order to function optimally.

Rapid NeuroFascial Reset - is a soft tissue, movement based therapeutic technique that addresses the central nervous systems role in alleviating pain, tension and restrictions within muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves.
